Feature

AI email management that reads your inbox so you don't have to

Mora connects to Gmail and understands every message that arrives: what it is, whether it needs a reply, what it's asking for, and when. Instead of a wall of unread mail, you get an inbox organized by what to do next.

The problem

What gets lost today

The inbox is where the work arrives, and it arrives faster than you can read it. A client request sits three messages down from a newsletter. An urgent question looks the same as a receipt. You skim, you miss things, and the important message surfaces only when someone follows up asking where your reply is.

Manual folders and filters help a little, but they don't understand what a message means. They can't tell you that the email from a client contains a deadline, or that the one you keep ignoring is safe to keep ignoring.

How Mora solves it

A better way to handle it

Mora reads each email the way you would if you had time. It writes a one-line summary, identifies the sender and what they want, decides whether a reply is needed, and picks out any urgency, deadlines, and specific requests inside the message.

Then it organizes. Ten smart views (Needs reply, Important, Review, and more) let you switch context instantly, and auto-tagging and categorization group your mail by what kind of work it is, so triage takes minutes instead of your morning.

Step by step

How it works in practice

  1. 01

    Connect Gmail

Sign in with Google. Mora syncs live, so new mail is understood as it lands rather than on a timer.

  2. 02

    Every message gets read

Mora summarizes each email, flags urgency and deadlines, notes the specific asks, and decides whether it needs a reply.

  3. 03

    Your inbox reorganizes

Smart views, tags, and categories surface what needs attention first. A triage side-rail keeps live counts of what needs a reply, review, or action.

  4. 04

    It learns your habits

The mail you always archive stops getting flagged, so the inbox reflects how you actually work.

In practice

A real example

A client emails at 9 a.m. asking for a revised quote by end of week, buried under two newsletters and a receipt. Mora summarizes it, marks it as needing a reply, flags the Friday deadline, and drops it into your Needs-reply view. You see it first, not third.

Who it helps

Anyone whose inbox is the front door to their business: consultants, agencies, service companies, and solo operators who get more client mail than they can triage by hand.

You stay in control

It proposes, you decide

  • Mora organizes and flags; it never deletes or archives mail on its own.
  • Every summary and tag links back to the original message.
  • You can recategorize anything, and Mora will reprocess it.
  • Bulk actions confirm before they run, and can be undone.

Questions

About this feature

Does Mora move or delete my email?
No. Mora reads and organizes your inbox, but it doesn't delete or archive messages on its own. Bulk actions require your confirmation and can be undone.
Does it work with Outlook?
Not yet. Mora currently connects to Gmail. Outlook and general IMAP support are planned but not live.
What happens to mail Mora isn't sure about?
When the AI isn't confident about a category, it shows a small question flag instead of guessing, so you can correct it.
